Nestled high in Colorado’s stunning San Juan Mountains at 9,318 feet, Silverton is an outdoor paradise with a rich mining history and a storied Old West past. The town has two very unique and affordable wedding venues: Kendall Mountain Community Center and the Victorian Gazebo at Memorial Park.

Kendall Mountain Community Center, located at the base of Kendall Mountain, features a grand room, and a full kitchen. With astonishing views in all directions, extensive wrap-around decks, a large stone fireplace, this is a very private setting for weddings. Best of all, this is amazing space is available year-round!

The beautiful piece of Silverton scenery is great for an outdoor wedding in the summer and fall months. Located at the edge of town, Memorial Park’s beautiful Victorian Gazebo can be rented for your wedding or reception. As Cement Creek babbles nearby, the park’s wide-open lawn invites your guests to participate in the experience of the mountains together. The park offers stunning panoramic views of the San Juan Mountains!

We had a simple DIY wedding at Kendall Mountain Community Center and it was perfect. Nice facility, great views, fun amenities in a cool mountain town.  -Nicole

Kendall Mountain Community Center was basically a blank slate so it allowed us to completely customize the day. From selecting our vendors, to shopping for all of our table décor, to deciding the setup and flow for the space, we were able to personalize every aspect. Plus, the mountain views are amazing!  -Jacqueline

A Fall Wedding in Silverton

Our inspiration was the beauty of fall in the mountains. It is definitely our favorite season with the warm sunny days and cool nights, and the changing of the aspen leaves to glowing gold. We wanted to bring that feeling into our wedding day while complementing the mountain lodge architecture of our venue, and keeping in mind Silverton’s Victorian/mining history.
