Nestled majestically amidst the rugged grandeur of Colorado's resplendent San Juan Mountains, Silverton stands as a captivating outdoor sanctuary, its lofty elevation of 9,318 feet bearing witness to a rich tapestry woven with the threads of mining history and the storied legends of the Old West. In this enchanting town, three truly exceptional and remarkably affordable wedding venues await your dreams:

First, the Kendall Mountain Community Center, gracefully poised at the base of Kendall Mountain, beckons with its opulent grand room and fully equipped kitchen. Here, breathtaking vistas unfurl in every direction, embraced by expansive wrap-around decks and warmed by the embrace of a colossal stone fireplace. This secluded haven for your nuptial celebration welcomes you year-round, a testament to its extraordinary allure.

Venture to the edge of town, and you'll discover the ethereal Victorian Gazebo nestled within Memorial Park, where the melodious babble of Cement Creek provides a serenade to your special day. Beneath boundless skies, this open expanse of lush lawn encourages your cherished guests to commune with the surrounding mountains. Panoramic views of the majestic San Juan Mountains envelop your gathering, making it a splendid choice for an al fresco wedding amidst the vibrant hues of summer and the rich tapestry of autumn.

And there, on Historic Blair Street in Silverton's heart, lies Anesi Park, a symphony of elegance and history intertwined. Its picturesque balcony offers a stage for breathtaking mountain views, while a commercial kitchen stands ready to meet your every catering need. This gem is not only a testament to your love but also a portal to the allure of local attractions, including the iconic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and the enchanting historic district. In the embrace of Anesi Park, couples embark on a journey to celebrate their special day with unrivaled style and grace.

We had a simple DIY wedding at Kendall Mountain Community Center and it was perfect. Nice facility, great views, fun amenities in a cool mountain town.  -Nicole

Kendall Mountain Community Center was basically a blank slate so it allowed us to completely customize the day. From selecting our vendors, to shopping for all of our table décor, to deciding the setup and flow for the space, we were able to personalize every aspect. Plus, the mountain views are amazing!  -Jacqueline

A Fall Wedding in Silverton

Our inspiration was the beauty of fall in the mountains. It is definitely our favorite season with the warm sunny days and cool nights, and the changing of the aspen leaves to glowing gold. We wanted to bring that feeling into our wedding day while complementing the mountain lodge architecture of our venue, and keeping in mind Silverton’s Victorian/mining history.
