Now in its 16th year, Blue Lake Ranch’s Ridgewood Event Center, just minutes from Durango, is known as one of the most beautiful private settings in the Four Corners area. With two distinct sites for a ceremony… on the banks of the La Plata River or on one of the manicured lawns surrounding the Center and looking up into the mountains and flower gardens, the possibilities are many for an event of 40 to 200 guests. The Ridgewood Event Center building is crafted from locally hewn pine with high beamed ceilings and surrounded by a large wraparound portal and towering Cottonwood trees.
Not only does the Ridgewood Event Center offer a superb facility and natural setting, we provide all the equipment needed for a wedding and reception such as wooden chairs, tables, high end china and silverware, glassware, linen tablecloths and napkins, and even a large high peak tent. Renting the Ridgewood is an opportunity to have your own private party in an unsurpassed setting where you get to choose your caterer, food and beverage selections, creating many choices and affordability.
Our professional staff will assist you with your event plan and then do all the set up and clean up on the wedding day, leaving you and your guests to savor every moment of the day worry free. The Ridgewood is an ideal venue for destination weddings or weddings requiring lodging for out of town guests. Blue Lake Ranch is just one mile away and can accommodate 45 to 65 guests in award winning cabins and casitas on a 200 acre estate with a private lake and hiking trails. With or without the lodging, we’ll provide you a magical experience in a magnificent private setting.
"We absolutely loved Ridgewood. This venue was perfect for us, beautiful scenery, serene and out in the country. Joan was our day-of coordinator and she was fantastic. She’s very creative and artistic and listens to what you want. She created our centerpieces, helped decorate the altar, set up the dessert table, and set the tent with ribbon chandelier. She was wonderful!" -Kaitlin & Dean
