Red, White, and Blue I Do’s

Kara & Jeremy  |  July 4th

From the bride…

Our 4th of July evening elopement was perfect!! We both wanted a private ceremony, just us, with no worries and drama.

THE VOWS

A friend of ours married us at McPhee Reservoir overlook. We arrived at the lake in separate vehicles (Jeremy had not seen my dress yet). I walked down the mountain trail by myself. Jeremy was speechless when he saw me. We wrote vows that we both stumbled through because we were both fighting tears and emotions. After the vows, we spent the night camped out on the beach under the stars.

ADVICE

Weddings don’t have to be over the top and expensive. We could not have had a more perfect wedding day!

THE RECEPTION

We will celebrate with friends in September with a pasture party and a band. We look forward to wearing our wedding attire again.
