Married in Colorado Paradise

Rachel & Diego |  July 27

From Rachel…

We got engaged in Durango, so we knew we had to get married in Colorado as well. We loved the idea of choosing Purgatory as our wedding venue, a place we can visit time and time again.

THE CEREMONY

The ceremony was held at the top of Paradise—a perfectly fitting name. We had the mountain ranges as our backdrop, showcasing pure Colorado beauty. It was absolutely perfect. I was a nervous wreck all day, but the moment I saw Diego at the end of the aisle, all my nerves disappeared.

THE RECEPTION

We made use of both the indoor and outdoor spaces at Purgy’s. Our first dance, parent dances, and speeches took place outside, as it was a beautiful summer night. After dinner, we turned the room into a dance floor and danced the night away. We never wanted it to end!

“One of the most memorable moments was stepping off the dance floor for a moment and taking it all in. I saw everyone with smiles on their faces, having the time of their lives, dancing and singing their hearts out. Watching everyone enjoy themselves as much as I was made me incredibly happy.”

“During our speeches, I dedicated my bouquet to my mom, and it brought everyone to tears, including her. It was such a special moment, and she carried the bouquet around proudly for the rest of the night. It was incredibly sweet, and I was so grateful to have the chance to honor my mom on my wedding day!”

I wish I could relive the whole day.
