Lucky in Love at Sky Ute Casino
From the bride, Alexandria: We wanted our wedding to be a reflection of our personal style. We had a traditional Navajo Wedding the day before, and this wedding gave us the opportunity to dress up and celebrate with family and close friends. My uncle officiated the wedding and incorporated our Navajo cultural traditions into the ceremony.
If you have a large family, Sky Ute Casino is the place to have your wedding. We struggled on finding a venue that would take our large family and we came across Sky Ute Casino. They had everything to make our day special and we did not have to go crazy on rentals.
My bouquet had two silver jewelry pieces that symbolized our Navajo heritage.
We were able to transform the room and create that WOW factor we wanted for our ceremony.
After the ceremony, guests walked through an aisle with chandeliers and chiffon draping into the reception area.
The entire reception was the highlight of our wedding. The whole night was filled with love, laughter, dancing and great food. We had so much fun Justin ripped his pants.
My favorite detail was the centerpieces. I believe that it made the entire space look elegant and romantic. I am a fan of flowers and to be able to have these beautiful pieces on the table made me smile. I loved that guests were able to take the flowers home to enjoy.
My advice: Please start planning early. As they say, the early bird gets the worm. This applies when it comes to planning your wedding. Most of all, take the time to enjoy being engaged with your fiance. Event though you may have so many wedding details to discuss, go on a date and leave wedding talk a home.
Alexandria’s RECOMMENDED VENDORS
VENUE, CATERER, LODGING, HAIR & MAKEUP: Sky Ute Casino . The food was exquisite. The caterers made sure we were taken care of. Most importantly there was plenty of food to feed all our guests. The rooms were great! They were large and comforting. The salon located in Sky Ute Casino was also great! I showed a picture of what I wanted and they recreated it perfectly. My bridal party and I got compliments on our hair all night.
