A Simplistic Autumn Wedding on a Rustic Colorado Ranch
Taylor & Evan | September 29th, 2018
From the bride… Our wedding day was exactly as we had dreamed. Looking back, all I do is smile!
THE LOCATION
We knew we wanted to get married on Evan’s grandparents’ ranch since it is a special place to both of us. The Dolores ranch has been the basecamp for many hunting adventures and family get-togethers. Evan’s parents were married in this location as well.
THE VISION
A wedding in the mountains that we call home, highlighting the natural beauty of the fall colors, the special family-owned cabin-in-a-meadow venue with simple, rustic decor.
My favorite memory was driving to the ceremony with my Dad in a red 1951 Willys jeep.
THE FOOD
Evan and his groomsmen spent the night before the wedding preparing a pig roast. The pork was in the ground smoking for 13 hours before it was served for dinner. It was a huge hit with all our guests!
