Cruising to Durango to Get Married

From the bride, Kelly: We asked our guests to bring their motorcycles out to Durango because we knew they had no idea of the beautiful scenery they would experience. The day prior to the wedding, we all rode the Million Dollar Highway to Telluride and, needless to say, they all loved the area and want to come back to Durango.

Our decor was simple and romantic with lots of candles and a soft color palette of gold, champagne and Tiffany blue.

I wore a Sottero and Midgley dress.

I walked don the aisle to “Someone Like You” by Van Morrison.  My two-year-old son gave me away. The ceremony was very intimate with just close friends and family.  My favorite memory was the smile Jeff had on his face the entire time.

The reception was very relaxed. No cake cutting, special dances or bouquet/garter toss – just great friends and great food and music.

My advice: Enjoy the time, enjoy the day. Don’t stress about the details. What is important is that you are getting married!
