An Autumn Destination Wedding in Durango
Natalia & Jon | Purgatory Resort
From Natalia…
Durango was a destination wedding for us. We chose Durango for its beautiful fall scenery. The area is stunning. I had so many guests mention how amazed they were by its beauty, especially being tucked away in the mountains.
THE PLANNING
We actually were fortunate enough to get our hands on several issues of Durango Weddings Magazine. We used it to assist in the selection our location, wedding ideas, and vendors.
THE DAY
We woke up to a beautiful Durango day; highs in the 60s, sun shining, and just enough of a breeze in the trees to make the colorful leave of the trees look like they were sparkling; painted with hues of yellow, orange, and hints of red. We did a first touch and took a shot of tequila together.
“I didn’t think I could cry that much while being so happy. We had a beautiful ceremony, we ate an amazing meal, drank happily, and danced till our feet hurt.”
