A Rustic Wedding in Pink at Triple J Ranch
Shannon & Kory | June 2nd
From the bride: I let my daughter, Kinley, pick the color palette for our wedding day. She chose pink. I also let her pick most of the decorations. She was just as excited, if not more, for the wedding day. She also made it clear, because I got to invite all of my friends to be in the wedding, she got to invite all of her friends to be flower girls.
Kory and I have always loved the Triple J Ranch. We talked about getting married out there before the owner, Susan made it a possible venue. We were both very excited when Susan made the ranch an option and it was the only place we looked at. We love the country/rustic look and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place for our wedding.
THE DAY OF
Our wedding day was beautiful. It was the perfect summer day. I cried when we arrived at the venue. Everything I had planned came together and it was all so gorgeous.
We chose to have the ceremony by the pond. Kory made the big red wooden cross for our altar. The flowers that decorated the cross were from April’s Garden. My cousin Brad officiated the ceremony and he did absolutely amazing. My favorite memory was our first kiss as husband and wife.
Our decor was simple rustic country.
After dinner, we all headed to the barn for a night of dancing.
THE FIRST DANCE
My maid of honor, Jessie and our family friend Colton sang/played the guitar for our first dance which was truly the first time we have ever danced a whole song together.
My daughter’s toast where she said she was happy that I married Kory because he is her best friend.
My favorite décor detail was the wooden cake table.
