WHY DURANGO

Durango was a destination wedding for us. Southwest Colorado is absolutely stunning, especially in the summer. From the clear blue skies and sunshine to the flowers in bloom in the mountains, you can’t get a more picturesque scene.

THE PLANNING

Durango Wedding Magazine was an amazing tool, especially as this was a destination wedding. Planning a wedding out of state is very hard but being able to see each vendors work in the magazine and online really helped me to make my decisions.

THE VENUE

With so many people coming from out of town (10 states and 2 counties), Purgatory was the perfect place to have a wedding. The accommodations and variety of things to do on site made it so fun for friends and family to make a vacation out of the entire weekend!

ADVICE

To really enjoy your wedding day together as husband and wife, you need to be intentional with your time. Stay by your spouses side every moment you can throughout the day as it goes by fast! From greeting guest together, to sneaking off for moments alone, these are the memories you will make together and look back on for the rest of your lives.
