A Modern Mountaintop Wedding at Purgatory
Katie & Brian
From the bride: Brian and I have spent many family trips in Colorado, and now vacation there every year together. The views are breathtaking. We are most in our element while in Colorado. As we started to discuss the location of our wedding, an outside ceremony on top of a mountain in Durango seemed perfect for us.
My favorite detail was the giant floral bouquets that stood on pedestals.
THE CEREMONY
We invited only close friends and family to our ceremony, it made the evening so special to us.
ADVICE
Take time to think about your vision for the wedding, and once you have an idea, execute it. Don’t spend too much time mulling over different options, you’ll never make a decision if you think too long over all the possibilities.
LOOKING BACK
I would have planned a farewell brunch with our guests the day after. We both wanted to spend more time with our friends and family before we left for the honeymoon.
THE WEDDING TEAM
Venue & Food: Dante’s at Purgatory Resort. Beautiful location, can’t beat the views and the food was amazing!
