A Fairytale Wedding Day at Purgatory Resort
From the bride, Reigan…
Our wedding day was raw, real, and beautiful. We did not see the venue until the day of our wedding; talk about being surprised. We took the adventurous shuttle ride way up to the mountaintop venue at Dante’s at Purgatory Resort and we were in awe of the beautiful view when we arrived. It was breathtaking!
I remember being in tears at our first look, and just being so grateful that our day had finally arrived and we were about to start our marriage! We had met in Denver in 2015 and it was surreal being back in Colorado to tie the knot.
THE FLOWERS
The boho-chic flowers April’s Garden designed made the mountaintop colors pop. I’ll never forget how perfectly everything blended together.
THE CEREMONY
The ceremony was beautiful! Our 5-year-old daughter was our flower girl, and she was truly the star of the show. We wore matching dresses from Grace Loves Lace, and it was such a special memory having her by our side!
THE RECEPTION
The reception was just as beautiful. We watched the sunset over the San Juan Mountains from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the reception space. We had our cake moment, then danced the night away. It was beyond special and more than I could’ve ever imagined. Truly a fairytale day!!
ADVICE
Enjoy everything, even the bad, it’s all part of the process. Trying to be present as much as possible, time goes by way too fast!
