The lodge is under new ownership as of last September. We just finished updating many of our lodging amenities including new light fixtures, paint, carpet, mattresses, bedding, and a full lobby overhaul. It's a beautiful, updated venue - the only of its type in the four-corners area.

"Just had my wedding at the BDL earlier this month and am so happy we chose them as our venue. The lodge and ceremony site are absolutely gorgeous. We rented the whole lodge for 3 nights and had all close family and bridal party stay, which made for a great reunion leading up to the wedding day. Amber was my day of coordinator and went above and beyond helping make the day perfect; she is extremely responsive and reliable. Would absolutely recommend to anyone to use BDL and Durango Event Planners for your wedding! Thanks guys!!!" - Erika (2022 Bride)
"The Black Diamond Lodge is truly a spectacular wedding venue. It was clean, so comfortable, private, and beautiful. The amenities could not be beat at the price point that we paid. Amber was our wedding coordinator, and not only did the entire wedding go flawlessly, but she kept the show running without us really even noticing. Take for instance, we had hired childcare providers, but neither the groom nor I ever talked to them on the actual day. She got them set up and ready to go without us even knowing. Shuttles to and from the ceremony site made getting pictures prior to the ceremony so easy." - Ariel (2022 Bride)
"Our big crazy family had our Family Reunion here. The Lodge is spacious and multiple beautiful views. I watched the sunrise over the mountains on the spa balcony every morning. A great way to prepare yourself for the chaos of a family reunion, and just Be for a moment! The Lodge had plenty of space for eating together, games and we even put on a talent show! The game room and dining area were the most used. We had ages from 4-months to old AF, and everyone enjoyed themselves. The Lodge is in close proximity to Purgatory, Bears Ranch (horseback riding), trails, water leisure, and a local bar, The Nugget. This was a great unforgettable reunion! Thank you for having us!!!" - Jenny Brown (2022 Reunion)

From the bride, Stephanie: We wanted a wedding that was casual, fun, and not too stuffy. We wanted our style to mimic our personal lifestyle.
