This pretty shoot was set in one of the most beautiful spots in Durango (the “secret meadow” just past Turtle Lake). We absolutely LOVE the amazing floral bouquet designed by April’s Garden. The greenery runner and individual cakes adorning the rustic farm table creates a simple yet elegant tablescape perfect for any southwest Colorado celebration.
It was important to us that the wedding reflected our adventurous laid back spirits. We tried to implement our favorite things and places in Durango as well as: the outdoors, our pups, local beer, and good food.

Our inspiration was the beauty of fall in the mountains. It is definitely our favorite season with the warm sunny days and cool nights, and the changing of the aspen leaves to glowing gold. We wanted to bring that feeling into our wedding day while complementing the mountain lodge architecture of our venue, and keeping in mind Silverton’s Victorian/mining history.
