Simple Mountain Country

Jessica & Preston  |  August 15th |  Echo Basin Ranch

From the bride, Jessica:
We love the mountains, horses and everything country, so we created a simple country wedding with a touch of vintage charm.   I love the feeling of warm rich colors, so I chose a Maggie Sottero “Brielle” dress in a vintage gold hue. When I saw bridesmaid dresses (Bill Levkoff) in warm wine with a golden sash, I was in love.

We used western boots from Hobby Lobby filled with fresh roses as centerpieces under the glowing aspen trees with a few amber tealights scattered around and golden yellow table runners that my mother made for us. I loved my cowboy boots!

Ceremony on the Golf Course

Photography by IlluminArts Photography

From the bride, Crystal:
Our ceremony was held on the lawn of the golf course at the (private) Glacier Golf Club in Durango Colorado.  We had 200 of our closest family and friends there to celebrate our special day.  The highlight of the day was walking down the grassy aisle towards beautiful mountains and seeing my future husband waiting for me at the end of the aisle. Our baby Tucker (dog) stood by our side during the vows.

I absolutely loved my bouquet from April’s Garden!

MEMORABLE MOMENT - My dad sang ‘Butterfly Kisses’.

Perfect Paisley at Silver Mountain Guest Ranch

Photography by Kyla Jackson Photography

From the bride, Kerry:
Our wedding was held at Silver Mountain Guest Ranch. The ceremony was short and sweet just like we wanted, but long enough for a bridal party of twenty to get down the aisle. The lighting was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for a better day or place, especially with the pond in the background and Silver Mountain shadowing our day.
Our reception was held on the ranch in the large, log awning which was absolutely beautiful and housed a wonderful dinner as well as a great dance floor.  We danced our first dance to “I Do” by Mark Wills, then our band tore it up as guests had their share of great country dancing.
We made our centerpieces, on top of bandanna wrapped posts, with the help of my family! We also mixed up the table décor by alternating brown tablecloths with blue runners and vice versa as well as using
different table sizes. Some tables were tall cabarets and others were large eight seaters.

MEMORABLE MOMENT
My three older sisters put on a hilarious dance skit.

LOOKING BACK
I wished we would have hired a “day of” planner just to keep things on track.
